Light Sabers
I learned of the San Diego Comic Con in the summer of 1992 and it became an on again, off again obsession. I finally made it 17 years later as tech support. I had a chance to duck into the main hall for a long lunch, and instead of photographing the cos-players as I had intended, I was attracted to those working the booths. Had they dreamt of coming to the convention as kids, writing in to Wizard Magazine hoping for the free ticket, too?
